yah, there's a backstory there actually. that lady with no red eye is actually not in the XIII league but she is the wife of the left guy so still in the family. the others are all in XIII league and they have a kind of ritual to make their hair white and eyes red.

I'm just becoming aware of this project, and I adore the character designs. Please tell me, what is 13th Experimental Corps? I keep encountering character designs like this from various artists (mostly on pixiv) that seems to revolve around some kind of project with that title or something similar.

it's just a organization we created to fit into the Pixiv Fantasy V. It's a drawing activity that artists in pixiv choose their country and set up a team or league based on the background story that was given. And 13th EC is just one of the league.

Yeah I eventually figured that out the more I dove into it. Problem is when you are viewing a website in japanese you automatically assume it's fanart of some exotic anime that has not been released outside of Japan yet. lol. Too bad, looks like it has that potential.

haha I've seen so many good works in PFV... this is definitely great. But, somehow I feel that their faces look too young for their bodies @______@
